PADI eLearning is the online academic Knowledge Development portion of the Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air, and Instructor Development courses. The advantage of doing your Knowledge Development portion of the courses online is that you can do it anytime anywhere. Your instructor will be available for questions either via e-mail or telephone as you progress. Once you have completed the eLearning coursework, you will receive a certificate of completion to give to your instructor. They will then administer a short quick quiz which covers the same information from your eLearning course. You will have access to all the eLearning materials forever in case you want to reference it in the future. Remember that eLearning only covers the Knowledge Development portions of these courses. A seperate tuition fee will apply for the pool and ocean sessions.

The Open Water eLearning Course can be completed usually in 10-12 hours. You can work on it anytime after receiving your login credentials.
