The crystal blue waters off the Avalon coast are known worldwide as one of the healthiest marine environments on the planet. With magical kelp forests and plentiful sea life, scuba diving in Avalon is an experience you will never forget. The Casino Point Marine Park is Southern California 's first city-designated underwater park. Established in 1965 by the City of Avalon as a reserve, Casino Point Marine Park has an abundance of marine life, giant kelp forests and several shipwrecks to explore.
To get to the dive park, we need to take the Catalina Express high-speed boat from the Downtown Long Beach Landing port located at: 320 Golden Shore, Long Beach, CA 90802. The trip takes a little over an hour.
We can book your trip for you for $100, this inlcudes your round trip boat ticket, luggage transportation on the island, 2 air fills, and tips. You need to bring your own tank and weights unless you want to rent them there (see prices below).

If our trip is planned with an overnight stay, you can book rooms at any of the Catalina Island hotels. One of the more affordable places to stay which is diver-friendly is the Hermosa Hotel. You can either call them at 877-241-1313 or go to their website to make your room reservations.
